  • Handyman

  • Happy to help with all small and medium sized projects

What we are not:

  • A Plumber, Electrician, Builder, or Mason. (will happily handle subcontracting though)

  • Equipped to handle large remodels, additions, or ground up builds.

  • Afraid to get dusty!

About Dusty Mayan Woodworking

Dusty Mayan Woodworking was born in 2023 from Ben’s love for working with his hands and taking something and pulling the beauty out of it. After 10 years in the Navy performing repairs and maintenance on shipboard electronic equipment, Ben attended Minnesota State University where he achieved a B.S. in Aviation Management and Finance. It was during this time that Ben found his love for working with wood. Starting out carving small figurines in his off time and helping friends and family with their projects. Ben spent the following decade after college bouncing between meetings and spreadsheets, the whole while dreaming up his next woodworking project. Ben continued to hone his skills in cabinetry making, furniture design/construction, and outdoor patio furniture. In 2023, Ben left office life and opened Dusty Mayan Woodworking with the idea of creating and selling custom wood furniture solutions. Ben quickly discovered that he has a passion for helping home and business owners beyond just a beautiful custom piece and decided to offer services to help them transform and rejuvenate their work and living spaces.
